Intelligent Web Engine (TimberFlow)
Live Application: https://timberflow.enriquesamaniego.com/ · Also known as: Business Websites & LPs · TimberFlow
B2B web and landing page architecture (TimberFlow) designed to replace static, one-size-fits-all corporate pages with structured messaging variants, edge middleware routing, and controlled OpenAI API integration.

Static corporate websites and landing pages often present generic messaging to very different B2B buyer profiles, resulting in weak value communication and high drop-off before contact.
B2B buyers, commercial prospects, and marketing/operations teams needing fast, tailored digital experiences with controlled operational costs.
Architected and deployed the TimberFlow web application; structured modular B2B value propositions and conversion paths; and designed the middleware pattern with rate-limiting and caching controls for AI-assisted content adaptation.
Live B2B web platform deployed at timberflow.enriquesamaniego.com demonstrating structured commercial storytelling, responsive performance, and governed AI integration.
How the Solution Works in Practice
TimberFlow demonstrates how a commercial web presence can combine high-speed static/edge delivery with intelligent content adaptation. By resolving visitor context at the middleware layer and serving pre-validated or cached content variants backed by an OpenAI API wrapper, the platform maintains fast load times, predictable API costs, and consistent brand governance.
Visitor Context & Entry Routing
Next.js middleware inspects entry route parameters and visitor context before rendering the landing experience.
Cached Variant Resolution
If a validated messaging variant is already cached at the edge, it is served immediately with zero LLM latency.
Rate-Limited OpenAI API Adaptation
When dynamic copy adaptation is invoked, requests pass through a rate-limited server wrapper with strict token caps and deterministic fallbacks.
Structured B2B Conversion Path
Visitors are guided through clear product evidence, technical specifications, and direct commercial inquiry actions.

Scope of My Direct Responsibility
- Information architecture and B2B conversion flow design
- Next.js frontend and edge middleware implementation
- Controlled OpenAI API wrapper design with rate-limiting and fallback variants
- Performance optimization, responsive layout, and cloud deployment at timberflow.enriquesamaniego.com
Architecture & Component Responsibilities
Next.js Middleware
Evaluates request context and selects the appropriate content variant without client-side layout shift.
Controlled OpenAI Connector
Interfaces with OpenAI models under strict rate limits, timeouts, and safe fallback copy.
Edge-Cached Content Variants
Stores approved messaging variants to minimize latency and prevent redundant API token consumption.
TimberFlow B2B Web Interface
Delivers responsive B2B product storytelling, specifications, and conversion CTAs.
Developed using Google Antigravity for UI engineering, component structuring, and deployment configuration.
Incorporates an OpenAI API integration pattern at the middleware/service layer to adapt messaging variants, bounded by rate-limiting and edge caching so the site never blocks or incurs uncontrolled token spend.
Key Decisions, Discarded Alternatives & Trade-Offs
Decision Implemented
Combine edge-cached variants with a rate-limited OpenAI wrapper
Discarded Alternative
Calling the OpenAI API uncached on every page load
Executive & Operational Rationale
Uncached LLM calls on public landing pages create unacceptable latency (2–5s) and expose the owner to token-drain attacks. Caching variants and enforcing rate limits ensure sub-second loads and predictable cost.
Decision Implemented
Always maintain deterministic fallback copy
Discarded Alternative
Failing or showing blank sections when external AI APIs time out
Executive & Operational Rationale
Operational continuity comes first: if an API quota is reached or a request times out, the visitor immediately receives the default high-conversion B2B copy.
What Is Verified vs. What Remains to Be Measured
Previous template versions of this portfolio displayed a placeholder '50% uplift in engagement' from an initial design template. In keeping with strict evidence standards, that unverified template figure has been removed; the verified evidence is the live deployed application at timberflow.enriquesamaniego.com.
Current Scope & Guardrails
- Public visitors experience the safe cached/default production flow so public traffic cannot exhaust OpenAI API quotas.
Planned Next Improvements
- Add first-party privacy-safe analytics events to measure scroll depth and CTA completion across content variants.
